Kurt Cobain is today’s QOTD
Saturday ❤️❤️
Started it right with a nice cup of coffee. I’m feeling optimistic and much more happier today. It’s powerful how a few words of advice can change your perspective.
My workplace had a annual Christmas party on Friday and this meant I could do my job earlier and therefore leave early too. Aaah I love it! Fridays on general are such a vibe. You know it’s the last working day of the week (sorry to those who work weekends too) and thus you have a spring in your step.
I’m waiting upon a delivery but I do have a feeling it may not arrive, as although I ordered the item before it was marked sold out, I’m worried someone had already beaten me to it. Shame if this is confirmed true.
I’ve wrote down my to do list for the weekend. There’s something very satisfactory about ticking off a completed task. Like you go girl! said the brain’s reward activation system.
I hope y’all are doing well. I do try to read everyone’s entries though I must admit I do have trouble focusing on the lengthy written ones (say hi to ADHD). Many of you are talented writers with a wide range of vocabulary usage. Love you Linguistic kings and Queens ❤️
Here is today’s quote of the day:
“Wanting to be someone else is a waste of who you are”
Kurt Cobain
I love that quote. I heard recently too that writing art for an audience is just commerce – that is what artists like Kurt Cobain only wrote for themselves but people fell in love with their work anyway.
@mrsdewees interesting

I agree. *sigh*
But, at some point, you recognize the futility of the pursuit.
Are you okay with you? There’s probably other people who are okay with it, too.
@control-h Thankyou for your comment. I would say I’m getting there.
