Happy Thanksgiving??

This is the 5th Thanksgiving I have spent alone. Boy did she take everything when she left. I’m currently sitting at work when I should be off. Can’t even get my cashiers to work for time and a half.

Getting sick of the happiness coming through the door but essentially its the time that people should be. The lucky ones who don’t cheat or lie. Or maybe they do. Maybe it’s 2nd marriages and step parents while the ones left behind suffer like me.

These strangers are the only people to wish me a Happy Thanksgiving. Not friends or family. This is what the holidays have been for 5 years.
