Six days down…

Well, seven, really. Today is almost over! I’m doing better now than before. Stephen is hot and miserable and having to deal with stupidity. (It’s the Army… stupidity runs rampant. I’m not trying to insult anyone… I was a military police officer. I have earned the right to mock the military) Everything is hurry up and wait, of course. And since there’s really nothing to do right now, he’s just doing a bunch of busywork.

My SIL is coming over on Tuesday to help me paint the house! The inside of my house is mostly beige. We painted the rooms downstairs a few years ago, but ran out of paint so there is a section of the stairs to the basement that isn’t painted. (It should be blue) I figured I might as well get paint to do that, too… I got all of the paint we’ve previously bought and took it to the store to be shaken and marked with the color on the lid so that I could see what colors I had. I THOUGHT one of them might be blue and the other four should’ve been light beige and dark beige…

No. I have THREE GALLONS of BLUE PAINT! Two gallons are a dark blue that we don’t even HAVE anywhere in our house lol. All I can figure is that the guy who remodelled our house must’ve bought them and then changed his mind and forgot to take them when he went. (He left some beige, I know) So yeah.. I definitely didn’t expect to have 3 gallons of blue paint. Now I need to paint something blue. Maybe I’ll paint the bottom half of the kids’ bathroom. (The top half beige, then a blue fish border and then the bottom half blue? Would that be stupid? I’m so clueless. lol)

I’ve lost three pounds since Stephen left… My mom gave my dog a mohawk… and I think that’s about it. Stephen’s calling! Have a good night!
