She may be spoiled, but she knows what “No” means!

Makenzie was trying to play with the dvd player and I told her "No." and she stuck out her bottom lip and threw a little fit a minute ago. Her feelings weren’t hurt… I didn’t yell it or scare her… She was just throwing a fit because she couldn’t do what she wanted. If the older kids threw fits like that at her age, I’ve forgotten about it. After she was done kicking her feet and screaming at me she crawled away to play with her toys, though.

She feels a lot better today. The homeopathic meds worked really well… Better than infants Tylenol Cold ever did! -BUT- it didn’t work for very long. Maybe an hour and a half or so. But at least that was an hour and a half that she felt better! Thanks for all the well wishes!

We were supposed to go camping today, but it’s rained the past few days, so we canceled the trip because of the mud. I don’t think Makenzie would like it anyway, with her cold. We were going with my mom and some friends and were going to take the horses ("Princess Patty", Stephanie’s miniature horse, and "Gus", my mom’s horse) and Mom’s friend was going to bring more horses so that we could go riding.

Stephanie can ride by herself now. She’s getting so big! I don’t trust her completely on her own, yet, but we’ll let her ride Gus and use the reigns while we have him on a lead rope. She’s learning how to make him go left and right and stop. He’s such a good horse for kids. I don’t know that I’d let her ride on any other horse.

I haven’t ridden in almost two years! (I’d just had Makenzie last summer and wasn’t up for riding and then my sister moved down here and everytime I wanted to ride she was there and I don’t like riding with her… she doesn’t know what she’s doing, but she -thinks- she does, which just makes her dangerous).

Stephen has the day off today, but has to work mandatory overtime tomorrow… and on June 2nd he leaves for 32 days with the military. Just the me and the kids for THIRTY TWO DAYS!?!?! I’ll probably have to sell one to keep my sanity. 🙂

Sorry for the boring entry! At least now you can’t complain that I haven’t updated in a while! Have a great day! Also, I’ll try and work on making the last few "dolls" today! (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, look for my "action figure" entries) I forgot to tell you this, but if I make you a "doll" and you want to put it on your OD for your readers to see, feel free to. I don’t even care if you say I wrote it. (If you actually use my idea to MAKE a real doll and you make millions, I want my share, though, dammit!) 🙂
