He doesn’t wanna…

It’s raining and cold outside and we can’t afford gas so the kids and I are stuck in the house today… Stephanie is taking a bath, Makenzie is rolling around playing, and Christopher is playing with legos. I’m BORED out of my mind, but I don’t feel like cleaning and my brat son doesn’t want to play with me. How sad is that? My three year old "Doesn’t wanna" play with me. Hmph. See if I make HIM lunch! SO there! 🙂

Also, I’m randomly excited because my friend Theo is coming here in August. She lives in Denmark and we met years ago online. I’m picking her up from Indianapolis and we’re taking the kids to the zoo on August 17 and then she’s staying with me for a week before I take her back to the airport… I’m trying to come up with fun things to do with her while she’s here… Things that don’t cost much because she’s spending a lot to fly here and won’t have the extra money to spend, and since we’re officially poor, we don’t have the money to spend, either. I know we’re going camping one night while someone watches the kids. (I’m SO excited about this) and I’m sure we’ll spend one day just hanging out at the farm because she’s dying to see all the animals..,. So I have one day at the zoo, two days/one night camping, and one day at the farm… I still have three days to figure out. Any ideas of what we can do? I live in the middle of a cornfield if that helps at all. 🙂

Ok, I’m gonna work on a doll. (meanwhile Makenzie started crying, so we’ll see what I get accomplished)

Um. I’ve never even seen the middle of a cornfield…so I’m not much help on suggestions, I’m afraid. lol I don’t know if the weather will be warm enough then, but maybe do you have a lake nearby? That’s what we do around here…go hang at the lake, when there’s no money.

ryn: oh…people actually care what *I* think? lol I guess I like it, actually…I’m still getting used to it. It’s very odd, running my fingers through my hair and running out of hair in like, 3 inches instead of 20…and using so much less shampoo…and I really have no clue how to style it yet…but other than that I kinda like it. haha

Anywhere you can go hiking? Pack a picnic. Thats what we always do when there’s no money. Beach or bush. Do they have any corn mazes where you are? If not – maybe you could all make one!!!!! Have fun with your doll – I hope its me!!!

Ryn: Thank you! I’m not really thinking of quitting any time soon. I have huge anxiety issues, and I guess simply trying will make me very stressed; I can’t afford being more stressed than I am by default. 😛 Oh, one has to make fun of their problems, otherwise it’s even tougher. Right, flying to the US is so expensive! I wish I could visit the States some day, I have friends there, but, oh well:)
