She has this indescribable glow on her face, the kind that always seems to show whenever she and I come in contact with each other. I’m willing to bet that that glow is there, even when she sees me and for whatever the reason, I might not see her. I love seeing this look on her face, one that lets me know, in a visible and tangible kind of way, that I make her feel good just by my mere presence.
The look in her eyes that often accompanies Serena’s glow is equally magical and ever so powerful. She doesn’t even know that she’s doing it, but I do. I also love this look on her, because of how her eyes seem to develop this intense focus and gaze that is ever so fixated on me and me only. There’s a certain softness to her look and I will admit that there’s something to it that absolutely drives me wild.
I know that she constantly doubts herself in this regard, but I will be one of the first to admit that Serena brings with her a certain brand of intelligence with her every time we are together. She is knowledgeable in a variety of different areas and it is this intelligence that always seems to bring me back to her. Our conversations are never dull or boring and for as long as we have been talking, there has never been a shortage of things to talk about. We could literally talk for hours, even if seemingly about nothing, and never be bored. I know that she has a tendency to refer to me as “smart” and as “knowing everything”, but the truth is, she is also smart in her own way and I see it. How else could I explain my wanting to spend my time talking to her and getting to know as much as I can about her and the person she is? I find her to be especially intriguing, to where she has me thoroughly captivated.
As odd as this may sound, Serena has the cutest nose. There’s a certain shape to it that I think is very cute and I can’t help but stare at it. She doesn’t know that I look at it, but I do. In saying this, I also tend to look at her cheeks, but if there was one feature that I can’t help but stare at, it would be her lips. I sort of do this “visual triangle” of sorts when I look at her, where I look at her lips, left eye, right eye, and then nose before starting the entire sequence over. I doubt that she knows that I do this, because frankly, I know that she’s staring at me with a similar intent and maybe not paying as much attention to how I am looking at her.
Spending time with Serena is and has always been a treat and I anticipate that this will be the case for the foreseeable future. She not only offers me something that is visually stimulating, but she also appeals to my mind, and that combination is rare and very hard to find. I look forward to spending time with her, whenever these moments are to occur.
As much as I try to put it into words, it’s not always easy to express what I feel and find the perfect words to say it all. What I do know and can say with the utmost ease and confidence is that she makes me feel good inside and I love every moment that we share.
There is just something so captivating about Serena and I love it.
