In one month Chelsea had really helped with making sure there were no accidents.
If any cables snapped she was there suspending it in the air until everyone got out of the way.
When the entire outside of the ship had been completed they were so ahead that they all celebrated by parting.
*********

The Party was set up in the mess hall. Chelsea didn’t think they were going to have lavish decorations.
The entire room was filled with silvers and metallic purple streamers. The tables all glowed purple. and all the chairs had silver cushions.
Chelsea stood, stunned at the doorway.
Blake was the first to see her. He was dressed in a silk shirt that was blue. He wore black dress pants. He looked at her expression. This was a party for her. He saw that she was enjoying it. Too stunned to even move. He chuckled.
Chelsea wore a light pink colored dress. It had two thin straps tracing her shoulders. The fabric clung to her body, outlining her features elegantly. The bottom of the dress reached her thighs and frilled out.Half of her copper hair was pulled back in a messy curl bun.
Before Blake knew it, he was walking to the place where Chelsea stood. And then he was bowing to her jokingly.
She went for it, looping her arm around his.
"So then Sir, Is this all celebrating the ship?"
Blake swooped a drink off a tray and handed it to Chelsea, who took  a small sip.
"It’s mostly for you.Without you, we would had lost a few people. Some good ones, too." His hand was moving by itself, reaching out to her face. His hand cupped her face lightly.
"You look ravishing tonight."
She gave a small blush, and a broad smile.
"Thank you Sir. You look amazing as well."
Blake gave a slight frown. Since she came aboard she called him "sir" and he wanted so much for her to say his name.
"Call me Blake, Chelsea. There is no need for you to use formalities with me."
Her smile lowered for a moment before spreading wider.
"I get it. I’m making you feel old. Come to think of it. I don’t even know how old you are."
He scratched the back of his head.
"Well, I’m 22."
She looked at him a moment, as if thinking. He took a few drinks from his glass, feeling a good buzz already.
"I’ve had such a great time on your ship Blake. I really feel like I’m not giving you enough. Is there anything that I can do?"
The worried look on Chelsea’s face surprised Blake.
"No, Chelsea, if anything you are giving me too much."
He grabbed another drink, noticing his was gone.
Suddenly the look in Chelsea’s eyes made Blake do something crazy.
They stood there embraced, both surprised.
It felt great. She smelled sweet. Then he realized that he hadn’t wanted to hug her. He was starting to get feelings for someone he was not meant to be with.
He pushed her softly away, and turned his head, embarrassed.
"Sorry about that… Must have.. tripped."
No words came from her mouth. He looked around. It didn’t seem like anyone was quite paying attention to their commotion. Then he turned to Chelsea.
She stood there. She was smiling. and looked dreamy eyed. Blake looked at her amazed. Could she posses feeling for him as well?
Then she looked up at his green eyes and smiled deeply.
"Blake, you smell great. Now, Let’s do some shots!"
As Chelsea said that she grabbed a few from a  floating tray.
They had a blast for about an hour before a wide-eyed man came bursting into the room, shouting franticly.
"Please, Have you seen Mr. Blake Thompson?"
The whole room when quiet when the man reached Blake. The man’s gray eyes grew larger.
"Are you drunk? You stupid, dumb,…"
Blake interrupted the man that looked as though he couldn’t afford the clothes he was wearing.
"What’s with the outfit? Undercover bull-shit?"
The man gasped sharply,
"Are you trying to get yourself killed tonight? Do you even know where you are supposed to be?
Blake shook his head.
"You are supposed to be finding the reason for…. the … you know."
He kept looking at everyone watching the whole conversation.
Drink trays still whizzing about the room.
"Listen, Sam. Everything will be fine. I’m having some fun tonight. You should too. You’re too uptight."
Blake had been drinking a while before Chelsea had shone up. And when she did, she had been feeding him with any shot that had passed.
Sam, as Blake called him was standing there, open mouthed, and wide eyed.
"Blake! You need to be in the you know what! Doing the you know what, for you know who!"
He was shouting. Anger was written all over his face.
Chelsea couldn’t help but wonder what he was talking about.
"Calm down, Sam. Gerth can hold on for a day or so."
There was a smile plastered to Blake’s face, and he wasn’t about to do any work after having such a great time here.
Sam had now gone limp and looked like he was about to fall over.
"Fine. You win, Blake. But don’t ask me for help in the morning, like you always do." And with that he walked out of the room.
"Who was that?"
Chelsea was curious, mostly because Sam had made it seem like it was really urgent. And Blake had blown it off like it meant nothing.
Blake turned to Chelsea, smile intact.
"Don’t worry. He was just upset because I’m supposed to be doing something important. But I’m having far too much fun to care."
He took another shot. Chelsea’s eyes went back to the door. She shrugged and joined Blake in the festivities.
***********

"Do you think you can walk?"
It was Chelsea’s voice keeping him together. He was being half held up by her.
After another hour of drinking Blake had fallen off the stool he had been struggling to stay on.
It had been a while since he drank like that. Chelsea made it seem like she wasn’t nearly as plastered as he.
Must be used to drinking, he thought
Soon he stood up and was wobbling to the door of his quarters.
Chelsea walked in with him to make sure he got all the way in before passing out.
"Chelsea, You don’t have to…"
He was smiling sweetly at her.
"Sure I do. I was the one who got you so drunk in the first place."
Her laugh was placing Blake under a spell. He kept saying things he didn’t want to.
"You are so beautiful right now."
As he said it, his hand cupped Chelsea’s face.
She couldn’t say anything. Her amethyst eyes looking innocently into his green ones.
He bent close to her face.
"You know, this could be wrong."
Him saying this made no difference to Chelsea. She welcomed the kiss whole heartedly, leaning the rest of the way till her lips touched his.
It lasted a few minuets. Chelsea’s eyes were closed, taking in every ounce of warmth.
"Can you please stop that."
It was a familiar voice. Chelsea and Blake looked at each other confused for the moment, before looking at the couch.
Sitting there was Sam. Looking more pissed off than before.
He stood up now walking over to Blake. Sam had changed his outfit, now wearing a plain white t-shirt and blue pants.
After looking at Blake for a straight minuet, he balled up his hand and struk Blake square in the face.
Chelsea jumped back in surprise.
When Blake recovered he had his hand ready to strike Sam right back. Sam seemed ready.
"Wait. You have to know something," He glanced over at Chelsea and lowered his voice,
"Blake, You have to figure out this string of killings. There is five of them now. Pretty soon there will be no more left."
Blake went from anger to torment.
"Great. What am I going to tell Gerth? When did this happen? The last few weeks?"
Sam’s nod was enough for Blake. He now turned and looked at Chelsea, and then back towards Sam.
"We know that it’s a female. And that she has red hair.  There was a sample of it at the last scene. You will want to see the re-actment."
Sam glanced at me every few seconds. He knew Chelsea was listening.
"Blake, Do something with her! It would be a lot easier to talk to you if she wasn’t here." He scowled at Chelsea. She Sat on the couch and stated that she was staying.
Blake stood looking back and forth between Chelsea and Sam. Finally he knew he had no choice and was going to have to kick Chelsea out.
"Sam, don’t be so cruel. Chelsea is a lady!"
Sam looked at him shocked, and cried out, "That’s just great!"
Blake sat next to Chelsea on the sofa.
"Listen, Chelsea." He waited for her to look at him before he continued.
"I had a really great time tonight.Unfortunately, I have to be leaving. You may stay here and wait for me, although I may take hours. Or you may leave. It is your choice. I, on the other hand, have no choice but to resolve an important issue." He smiled at her, still seemingly drunk.
Chelsea didn’t want him to leave at the moment but she had gotten a kiss. And he really didn’t seem to have a choice, noticing that Sam was watching every move.
Chelsea watched Blake and Sam leave in an odd blue light beam. Thinking it was her buzz she shrugged it off, beaming herself with a purple light, to her quarters.

That’s all for tonight. Wait for the next Chapter!
