Hey Girl!
I am a 36 almost 37-year-old woman and this lil girl, who I work with, who happens to be 7 years younger than me constantly greets me with a 
Every time I hear her greet me that way I want to curl up and die. I find it to be so derogatory and bot does it make me feel sick!
I suppose the fact that she generally irritates me doesn’t help but I try and maintain a smile and work along with her to the best that I can.
Whenever she greets me, I think of how my older sister would blast her for talking like that. My sister hates it when people greet her like that too…I mean in December she is going to be 50 so I totally get it.
What is young(er) people referring to everyone in such a unprofessional manner and not recognizing the respect levels you speak to me? Oh so 7 years age difference isn’t that much but I am not her friend or some lil child that she can speak to like that!
I see so much disrespect in young people these days and it makes me sick.
I totally get what you are saying! The worst part of it all is the fact that they think they are entitled to behave that way. But you know, I don’t blame them. I blame their parents! Not being biased but do believe that my sisters have raised their kids well, but when I see their friends and how they act sometimes I am gobsmacked!
