Push It In…HARD!!!!

William:  “I have to put this thing inside!  Could you help me?”

Me:  “Sure!  Here, you’ve almost got the tip in…”

William:  “The way I’m standing, I can’t see where it’s going!  Could you just guide the tip in there for me, please?”

Me  :  [holding my hand around it and guiding it inside]  “There we go!  The tip’s in there.  But you need to push the rest of it inside!”

William:  “I think I have to twist it a little for it to go all the way inside…There it goes!  I feel it going in there now!”

Me:  “This sounds really dirty!”

William:  “Hahahahaha!  Oh my god, it DOES!!!”

That was us assembling the artificial Christmas tree yesterday, trying to place and secure the topmost segment.  

This sucker’s a huge one.  Seven and a half feet tall, almost five feet wide at the base…
