90L.invest now posted for the NW Caribbean

So, the first week of june isn’t even over yet, and there is a potential for a tropical system to develop in the NW Caribbean. The invest(which means that there’s something there interesting enough to investigate, but not organized enough to call a tropical depression) seems to be getting its act together. Don’t be suprised if by this time tomorrow or thurs morning we have a Tropical Storm to the south, heading north towards the Miss/ALA/FLA region. The worst case scenario… would involve the storm shooting the gap between the yucatan and Cuba, then taking a slow curve to the east. Given the rather warm water tempratures. if the storm gets started, it would have a pretty good chance to make it to hurricane force before hitting the US. Blergh, oh well… crap happens… more on this later

I keep a light lit for no hurricane. Other than that.. well batteries, bottled water and gas cans topped off. EEP, glad no longer in FL.. *huggles*
