Ndifani Waku….
Today started off well. Went to a tattoo parlour and looked into getting a new tattoo, of course my husband came with me and needed some attention so often cut me in to discuss how he wants to have his current tattoo highlighted etc. In the end we left with him having a booking to have his tattoo refreshed and me having a quote for my future tattoo.
This whole week he hasn’t stopped going on about how he needs a car, and I agree with him just don’t know how he can budget for one when he doesn’t earn much and has so many other expenses etc and many of which I cover… anyway so we went to look at a 2013 Merc today.
He drove it and loved it and took home forms to complete so he could buy it and possibably get financial assistance. If this all goes through I would be really happy for him. I do feel as if he needs to get some responsibilities and adult stresses and feel as if he has grown up and achieved something.
We then make a stop in a mall. While we are having lunch he asks me what happened to have made me so angry to kick him and his sister out… so I told him about her asking me to pay for her rent upfront for 6 months and how she will pay me the rent every month. He was shocked as he didn’t know she asked and he became furious about this; he even held back tears. He promised me that he had never spoken to anyone about my financial status and abilities. He tried to explain how I have said many times how I sold a property and how she probably came up to some assumption on her own account. He still doesn’t think she had any right to ask me and he wanted me to know that he never knew and he insist that I explain that to my family too.
Anyway he was now revved up and got me to give in and buy him a bottle of vodka…which is about half gone already and there is tension between us.
I just want her to find a place and move out.
Been baking for the past few hours and while I had some doughnuts in the oven he comes up to me to tell me he is hungry. So I replied that I plan on making myself an egg later and will make for him too then, but he went on about how he was hungry right now and wanted to eat now…. And in Zulu he said to me that he was my husband and it was my duty to feed him. Told him he has hands and can feed himself, and I then walked away.
