I Am Officially a HOMEOWNER!!!!!!

The title says it all!  I am a new homeowner!  I am very happy!

The process was crazy I was sooo nervous.  The closing was scheduled for 11a.m.

All this little stuff was going wrong and it freaked me out..really bad!  Okay first off the seller/builder did not show up for closing.  That meant no keys or anything. On top of that, I was told I didn’t have to bring any money to closing and then it was this large figure after all was said and done and they were looking at me.  My agent immediately got on the phone with my broker and the amount was reduced to something I could work with. Then we had to wait for the seller to call back which took hours.  My agent apologized and was trying everything in her power to re-assure me that everything was going to be okay.  After I signed tons of paperwork and waited for a long time, my agent and I went to lunch.  To make this long story short by 4:30 I had my keys and everything was fine!

My house is beautiful.  I didn’t stay there last night but I can’t wait to move all my stuff in this weekend.  Today I have been setting up all my services (phone, cable, water, lights, alarm, sanitation..ect..) I am very blessed and I thank God for blessing me. My finances are going to be tight.  Very tight because I have to buy my living room furniture, refrigerator and other necessities.  I will wait on my dining room table.

My house is waaayyy beyond what I thought I could have at this point in my life and I am soo thankful!  I have the house down..next step husband and then kids!

 Mood Today- Blessed…Very Blessed!

Congratulations! You’ve achieved The American Dream. I’d like to suggest a movie for you. The Money Pit. It’ll explain what home ownership is all about. RYN: I have a lot of faith in you. Don’t forget, I know your weaknesses, too. You are far too kind hearted when it comes to guys wearing sports jerseys, baggy pants and a hood ornament as a medallion. I forgot the fake gold teeth, too.

I saw a guy dressed like that the other day at a bar that I was at. I had never seen anyone play so close to the stereotype thug loser before. I started talking to him and he wasa great guy. His heart was as gold as his teeth! Plus, you are a girl that likes to take broken $hit and fix it. 🙂

I’ll tell you something. Out of all my faves, I probably have the most fun with you. Too bad you live so far away. 🙂
