Monday Morning

I have to leave to catch my ride, at 7:15 am. My wake up time was 2am. I got everything ready, the night before to minimize any disruption to other tenants’ sleep. I had coffee, took my morning medications, tied up the trash, cleaned the coffee pot, washed dishes, straightened the livingroom, mad my bed, packed my purse and got a shower and shampoo. My ride could arrive as early as 7;30 am.

Later on, after I get back, my caregiver will be arriving. After that, my daughter is taking me up to Walmart, because I would like to stock up on bath tissue. I might also pick up a few items for my oldest sister, whom is coming up for a visit on Saturday. I am compiling items in a gift bag for Elaine. So far it consists of a framed picture for her companion in Tennessee, antique plate and creamer, 2 cookbooks, assorted soaps in a gift box, a bookmarker and Wendy’s coupons. I might buy some pizelles for her and a few other things. She always brings up a gift bag for me.
