And Life Moves Forward

Who knew on my day off for "mental health" reasons (plus my yearly physical) I would meet a musician/hockey player (from British Columbia of all places) at WalMart.  I never go to WalMart, but I was next door having breakfast and needed a shelf for my laundry room.  We passed each other about 3 times in and out of the store and ended up getting to our cars at the same time.  He offered to help hang my shelf, I suggested coffee instead…lol.  We did that and might meet up before he goes to work at 5.  (he valets at a "fancy" Italian restaurant)  This will be a good distraction at the very least.

Aww, too cute!! I think it’s a great distraction! I’ll have to check out his vocals later (I don’t have speakers on my work comp).

I met a girl at Wal-mart who was a singer-songwriter back in Tuscaloosa when I was in college. It didn’t go anywhere, but it was a nice little distraction at the time. ryn: thanks for the birthday wishes, by the way. It was pleasant! I enjoyed the day quite a bit.
