Wow, it’s been a while…

I’m back from California. Our trip was much too short. I loved seeing my loved ones. ❤️ I drove across the country (again) but this time I drove the moving truck with all of our things. My sister-in-law accompanied me and it was a nice time. Long though for both of us. The moving truck became a nightmare never ran into a severe storm that began in Alabama and continued all the way to South Carolina and it was a bad one, so much thunder and lightning and heavy rain and wind, so driving that truck was insane BUT the trucks seals were apparently no existent and the inside leaked like crazy!! Within minutes my entire clothes was drenched- like I had to stop and wring my jacket out. I couldn’t wring out the rest of me clothes but that’s how awful it was. I was completely drenched from heat to toe, there was a whole ass puddle at my feet and on Natalie’s side also. There was a severe storm going on inside the cab too. She was also soaked. I called the place and their solution was to have another truck come out and she and I had to unload the truck and reload the new one. It literally took 7 people to load our truck up and they wanted us to do it in a timely manner during a storm. Obviously that was not going to happen and they haven’t heard the end of me yet. Also in Alabama when we finally got to our air bnb after driving all day and night (we arrived around 3:30am) we walked in and it smelled awful! Then before entering all the way I scanned them room and I saw a ton of cockroach traps and y’all know immediately my anxiety was at 100. Then I saw roaches and then my sister saw roaches and fuuuuck no, I got on the phone asap to book a hotel room. We left. I need to get my money back for that shit-hole. My husband was outside waiting when we drove up and I was just so happy to see him. ❤️ We got another puppy so my little george wouldn’t feel so lonely and sad. I don’t know if this is any better lol because now he’s on edge and mad. He’s getting better though but it’s been tough I do think it will be fine later. He doesn’t like to share his toys, or beds, or blankets lol or Dave! When Rou (Rou is our new girl) goes near him all hell breaks lose here.

The day I arrived here my mom called and let me know my brother just fell incredibly sick and bed ridden and I’ve been worried sick since. I got here on a Friday I believe and on Sunday my mom went to check on him and he was ice cold and stiff so she called an ambulance and he was apparently gone. They were able to get a heart beat and he was at the hospital until yesterday. The doctor advised him to not leave but my brother said he’d rather die at home than in a hospital bed. I’ve been a mess but I keep everything in you’d never be able to tell. I need to get back home. Like now. I wish things were easier. Ok, I’m going to move on from this paragraph – it is necessary for me.

My husband and I have been unpacking. His way of unpacking and my way just clash! He is just in a hurry take it all out throw it anywhere you see space and as for me, I like to unpack slowly. Intake it out find where I want it to go and put it away nicely. So the unpack hasn’t been easy lol but then Monday came and he went to work so I was able to somewhat put everything away. During my unpacking I listed a bunch of my clothes and shoes on Pinterest mainly so I can make enough money to fly home. I’ve already sold several items. Oh, my car broke down so I suppose the Pinterest money will help with that first. 😖 I feel like there is always something wrong with my car but I’m trying to avoid a car payment at all cost.
Ok, I’m tired. Goodnight

Nice, I remember moving from FL to CA twice with my ex and our dog, each time driving a large moving truck, as it had to be large enough to be able to tow my ex’s truck. The first time, we took the 10, and ugh, Texas takes forever and is boring. I drove for 12 hours straight, at one point, so tense, because the winds would hit the moving truck and his truck differently, so they’d go different directions. Not sure how I did that. The second time, we took the 40. It was a prettier trip, but I had an issue with my glasses, and it was snowing for parts of it, so my ex ended up driving most of the way. He got tired and moody, and we broke up during the trip lol, then got back together when we arrived.

I always wanna plan to drive to see my parents, but I hate that it takes 4 days! I love driving, but that’s a lot to do both ways, especially cause my husband is like, “Um, you go ahead, I’m flying” lol.

I’m sorry about your brother. 🙁 I cannot imagine how you feel. <3
