Edible dirt

A quick note to myself… i’ve been trying to keep track of my health, and habits, so that I can once again fit into my pants.

Lately, I’ve been eating, well… everything.

Mainly things I cook at home ( although I don’t count the frozen pizza in that category, even if it did come out of my oven).

I’ve also been eating a hell of alot of ice cream. Ben and Jerry’s Cookie Dough for the win baby!  I haven’t been limiting my carb or my calorie intake. And I’m hungry all the freakin time.

Now the weird part.   I think I’ve lost weight.

I know girl time is approaching soon ( as in tomorrow).. and when I stepped on the scale it showed that I dropped a couple of pounds.  And that’s not factoring in the 7 lbs of water that I gain each girl time. (I’m not kidding..I literally gain 7 lbs in water weight. It’s ridiculous)

I have increased my fruit intake, and lots of berries since they’re in season.  And I just polished off some kick ass chicken and veggie curry soup that I made from scratch.

Just weird. Very weird. But I’m not going to complain..

Now if only my brain would let me sleep…

isn’t that always the way? you try and try to lose weight, nothing. then you do nothing, and suddenly, pounds vanish. i recently quit coffee, and as a result seem to be feeding every single other vice, like tons of pop, sweet tea, and bad food choices, and yet somehow, i seem to be weirdly losing weight?!

The exact same thing happened to me. I’ve cut out soda and junk food a long time ago. I still spend all day behind a desk, so I still struggle. Then I took a week off to house sit for my parents. No working out. Drank with my friends every night. Ate fast food on my way too and from work. Lost 5 lbs. Of course then I never got back into my habits after and I gained that 5 back and then a few more
