Sweet, sweet home –Photos

I’m home again from DragonCon.

Bloody amazing. The booth did fantastically well and surpassed my goal as far as total sales. And my work was complimented alot.. which is always nice to hear.

The drive back was actually enjoyable too. I took it slow and easy… enjoying what I saw around me.. stopping when I felt like it..  no rushing or panicking.

Round abouts the middle to the western parts of Texas I stopped and took a 9 hour "nap" at a picnic rest. The kind that have the kitchy mini oil rigs placed above the picnic benches. Just curled up in the driver’s seat listening to the freeway and the crickets.  Had some fantastic dreams.

Next morning continued out… but  made a point to stop at places that I’d been meaning to the past couple of drives through Texas.

This…is the former Kent,Texas public school.  Kent is a town of 60. It has no emergency services. No school system, and the people govern themselves.

For some reason these seemed more appropriate in black and white. The basement of the school was.. neat. A little creepy.. but very very small.

For now.. I’m glad to be home. I’ll be here for at least another 3 weeks or so.. and loving it.
