I need a pool!!

Why can’t I talk Jose’ into letting us get another pool?!  We had above ground pools in our backyard for years and he never once had to take care of it.  I was the one who kept the leaves out, kept it clean, put the chemicals in it and I loved doing it.  It wasn’t work for me, it was fun.  I loved sitting out on my patio and seeing my kids have fun and I’d get in there in the evenings sometimes with them.  He says it will take up too much of the backyard.  Who cares if it does, besides him.  He recently added on to our patio so he would have room for all his barbque pits and smokers and he built a bar back there and that took up a LOT of our backyard but I didn’t complain because I knew it made him happy.  Well, a pool would make me happy and it would give Landon something to do.  I think I’m fighting a losing battle.

This morning I went out to our shed in the back yard that has all our workout equipment and I worked out some while Jose’ was out there.  He showed me some good things to do to firm up my arms and legs.  I will be sore tomorrow but it will be a good sore.  I’m going to try to make that a part of my morning routine…that and riding my bike.  I really want to get in better shape and I know I can do it…I just need to be more motivated.  I’m lucky to have the workout equipment right in my backyard.

My daughter, Kinley, is coming home today so Jose’ can work on something that is wrong with her car so I got to see her and her puppy, Milo.  I wish she was leaving him with us but he has a vet appointment tomorrow so he can’t stay.  He is just the cutest little puppy.  After he fixes her car we will go to my mother in law’s house to help her make tamales.  My mother in law pays Kinley to help her each week, or whenever she can come, and that helps Kinley a lot.

I’m going to start another crocheted baby dress today.  I found some more yarn yesterday in my sewing room :-). My niece is pregnant and I’m really hoping she’s having a girl so I can have fun making stuff for her.  Of course I can make stuff for a boy, too, but not the cute little dresses.
