glistening with starlight

in her eyes, glistening with starlight
the foaming sea
reaches out to the parched earth

in her eyes, brimming with life
the parched earth
the map;
de-centralized

her legs spread, two peninsulas toward
me
the sky

eyes orbiting the moon
meteors glancing off her skin
white as teeth

were I a humming bird; and she
            the flower, overflowing with nectar
her petals, still young-
and tense with
                      innocence

the dew gathering;
moist to the touch of my face
kissing her lips,

to the buckle and twitch
of her hips

if I were a humming bird
dipping my beak
into her moist depths

the flick of my tongue
                brings for a quiver
her eyes rolling, the sea waves
green as gravity, the smile
of her thighs

glistening, we, beneath the starlight
