Stop procrastinating

I’ve been complaining about my refrigerator for the last 3-4yrs. It’s been leaking real bad for that long. I recently started looking at Facebook Marketplace for a used one but kept procrastinating. Then the last week my daughter told me about her getting a new refrigerator because hers just up and quit. Her and her fiance got theirs at Lowes. They did a leasing program that Lowe’s was offering because her fiancés credit isn’t good. She suggested I do that. I researched online several different places for what I wanted. I found only 1 at Lowe’s and 1 at Home Depot that would fit in my spot and that was a bottom freezer. I finally went today to Lowe’s and checked it out on person. It’s a little smaller than I wanted but otherwise I’m real happy with it. I got a metallic black one. I did their leasing only because I didn’t want to pull out all that money from savings at once. I’m paying it off in 90 days. It gets delivered Sunday. I’m excited! I’ve never had a NEW refrigerator. Hell I never had any new appliances while on my own. I did manage almost 2 years ago to get my new washer and dryer and now the refrigerator. I feel like I’m finally in a more stable financial situation. I don’t need alot of money or things. I’m happy with what I have and just having the ability to get what I need when I need it. That’s all that matters to me. 

Over the weekend I had to go to a picnic/ memorial for Marty’s friends sister. She died recently at 50yrs old. They still don’t know exactly what she died of. Marty rode his chair up the road to their house and Lilly followed him to make sure he got there ok. She stayed with him till my shift started and I met them there. I ate what was catered there which wasn’t real healthy food but I dust eat a whole lot. Then before we left Marty’s friend made me eat a piece of cake. It was good but I didn’t eat the whole piece. It was big and it was just too much for me. I had a fairly good time there with them. On our way home Marty’s arm started feeling fatigued and he couldn’t maneuver his chair down the road. I was following him in my car and he’d go a little bit and stop then go a little and stop until finally he couldn’t go anymore. He lives about 1000 feet down the street so he had a little ways to go. Thankfully his friends came and steered him down the road to home. Only problem was that they were both pretty drunk and almost steered him into a ditch a few times. He did manage to get home finally but what a time, lol. 

I took Lilly out to lunch yesterday for her birthday. We went to Ruby Tuesdays. I haven’t been there in a long time and I love their garden bar. I had that along with the blackened tilapia with grilled zucchini and rice pilaf. And I had an unsweetened ice tea. She had the pulled pork plate and a salad. It looked good but I was really pleased with my meal. 

Tonight I made a grilled chicken cobb salad for my dinner. I can’t wait to eat it! Looks so good!! I leave for work in about a half hour. Gotta figure out what to make for Marty for dinner. 

Well that’s it for today. I have to take my dogs out to potty then get my waters together and pack my lunch. I hope all of you are doing good. Take care my friends!
