Too Good To Be True…

It is after work and my husband comes and fetches me…

I get into the car…and shock horror he actually greats me…

We drop a collegue off at their home, so it is mainly just the 2 of the talking…

It is finally just the 2 of us…and he is kinda the first to break….normally it is me.

He goes on about how much pressure work is and it is a journey. I cut him in and say pur problem isn’t just his work…yes he needs to prioritize me but he said some harsh words to me….

He then acts as if he doesn’t know what I am talking about and asks me what did he say….

I tell him he called me a Terrible Wife and blamed me for not falling pregnant…I would have gone one but he acted as if he had reasoning for calling me a bad wife…he went on to say he just doesn’t randomly say stuff without cause.

So I gave up…I knew I wasn’t getting anywhere and I had to get home for my OT session…well it isn’t really a session since it is his aunt using me as a subject for her course. Anyway….

Fuck! Cape Town is cold tonight!!

Anyway….so we get home and he finishes off his work…and acts all merry and smiley….but I know something is up…

I am having my vaccine shot tomorrow morning so I told him that I need the car…this morning he said he will make his own way to work…when I brought up having the vaccine tomorrow morning he just nonchalantly ask what time is it…and then says “oh there is time for you to take me to work” – like WTF?

So he was making up with me because he knew he needed me to take him to work tomorrow morning and then fetch him later…

Just now we were talking and I asked him…have you been drinking….and with a smile on his face he says “yeah….just 3 shots…” so in the 2.5 hrs we have been home while he was working he had vodka.  Like FUCK, really.

Aaaaargh……

Maybe on our drive to his work tomorrow morning it will be a good time to actually talk and voice my issues.
