The weekend !

So the weekend is here again…

Luke has visited… had a good weekend although we didn’t chat about anything we had planned… nowt, nada, nothing !

He arrived Friday afternoon and we went and had some food and a drink and a gossip… back to my place for a kiss and a cuddle 🙂

I had a good go and poisoning him with some weird ass veggie cooking I’ve never tried before.. we both survived that.

Walked the dog, watched a film and erm fell asleep… +stuff

Saturday we got up at a reasonable time and headed over to see my mum, Luke was nervous but was fine after he’d met her. So we then went shopping and ended up buying far to much stuff lol

Had a nice meal out and headed home as it was quite late at this point.

Sunday was a little more tricky. My ex had commented the day before that he was thinking of moving out saying the neighbours are driving him nuts.. but I think it’s more to do with the fact that me being with Luke is driving him nuts… this puts me, and possibly Luke in an awkward position. I can’t afford to stay on my own in the current location. if I go it alone and get a place I won’t be able to afford to go see Luke in London OR if I go back to my Parents short term Luke won’t want to come visit cos it would be to awkward for him ! I’d also have to lose my dog cos most rented places won’t allow dogs.

So me and Luke chatted about moving in together (it’s a conversation we’ve already had to be honest) and threw a few ideas around….. ultimately it’s about buying a place together but THAT is a long ways off ! Idea’s were tossed around but no plans were actually made.. Interesting that he doesn’t mind talking about these things really so soon into a relationship. Kinda scary in some respect.

Anyway came home after a very long walk/talk, made him some dinner and then he made a break for his train home.

Having chatted to him today about the move (as he asked) he definitely seems to have backed away from what he said yesterday which to be fair isn’t un-surprising as the talk was of him moving here as he works from home so can work anywhere. Even visits to his office wouldn’t be out of the question as there is a direct link between here and London… We’ll see how this all pans out.

So that was my weekend… Let’s see how this week goes !

NB: Luke and myself had mentioned on several occasions about linking our facebook pages, despite saying he wanted to do it I felt like I’d bullied him into it so said no more about it. He mentioned it this weekend and said he wanted to do it but despite saying he wanted too he’s gone silent on the issue. So I’ve said no more..  funny dat !
