double the jobs….double the craziness

I have been working at a local market and deli for six months now, and last wednesday I started a new job as a housekeeper at Hawthorn Suites LTD. It has just made my life crazy in the last two weeks. I’m starting to get the hang of it, but I’ve been so tired lately. At least I’m making money for me and Eli to go to Chicago. You know, I thought housekeepeing would be a breeze (especially since I’m a neat freak), but it’s a lot harder than I thought. My knees and back have been hurting from kneeling down and making TONS of beds. Can’t complain though, I get paid more, and I get better hours. Instead of sitting around during the day (when everyone is at work or school) and working at night, I work during the day and get to go out at night (except for the two days a week I work at night at the market).

I need some halloween ideas for me and Eli. I would like for us to have costumes that go together. But, he’s not gonna go for anything "sissy". He calls himsef "gangsta" so it’s gotta be a cool costume by his definition. I do have some ideas though….

Jack-o-lantern t-shirt….layer two shirts, a black one and an orange one. put the ornage shirt underneath and the black shirt on top, but cut out a jack-o-lantern face in the black shirt. That way an orange face will show through the blak shirt.

Ghost t-shirt….again, layer two shirts, a white one and a black one. wear the black shirt underneath the white shirt and cut a ghosts face into the white shirt. To add something to it, cut a cool design around the bottom, and arms of the white shirt.

Hey, I think it sounds very cute. I’m making those just to wear around halloween, it may be cheesy but I like it!
