The End

I never did finish my story about my illness… Sorry to everyone who I left hanging.

I had cat scans which showed up what was initially thought to be an anneuroism in my head. I was promptly admitted to hospital where they were preparing to operate on me the next day.

After a MRI scan, I was diagnosed with a Pertuitory Tumor. Basicly my pertuitory gland (controlls hormones, thyroid and many other things) is approximately 40% larger than ‘normal’ and the reason for all my headaches was because the tumor had actually hemmoraged. Fun.

After going into hospital Monday afternoon, they let me out on Friday afternoon. I’m ok. This thing isn’t going to kill me. Just going to be a pain in the bum. I’m seeing a neurosurgeon to keep an eye on the size of my pertuitory gland and a endocrynologist to keep an eye on my hormone levels etc. I have high levels of prolactin apparently.

I still get headaches every now and then. Been over a month since I had my last one I think. But over all I’m back to normal.

So thats it. The End… I think I would have liked to be a bit more dramatic than that, but oh well…
