The Final Countdown

Being off from work is so much more fun when you know you have an income and can spend money. For the last six months I have stayed at home and tried to find things to keep me busy during the day because basically, without an income I couldn’t really go out shopping or do anything… and this winter has just been hell because its too cold to do anything outdoorsy.

So, I had a really good time yesterday shopping. I mean some of it is because I never shop and it was really nice to just spend some money on myself for a change. I spent a lot of money… but mostly at Victoria Secret. 🙂 But, I did take advantage of some really nice sales at some other places and I think I’m set with enough clothes to get me through for a while. Today, I need to head to LL Bean to return a $100+ coat I bought last year… They said they will always take it back and basically I didn’t think I would ever return it, but the zipper keeps getting stuck and now its ripping the seam. When a piece of clothing is that expensive its good to have the option to always return it. Victoria Secret said they do the same thing.

I got the list of "To Dos" from my boss. He’s been thinking about what I can do for a while I guess. LOL The list is very long but I’m sure that a lot of it is going to be second nature to me and I’m sure that some will be a fun learning experience. I’m honestly really looking forward to having some challenges again to keep my brain working.
