A White Christmas for all
From what I’m seeing around OD, it looks like almost all my US OD favs had snow on xmas. We were no exception.
Christmas eve, after a full day of baking and then making a spinach lasagna, we took a drive around town to look at the lights. As we were looking out over the city (looks like this
it started to snow!!! It was magical… I thought it was just going to be a light flurry for a while, but it turned into a pretty decent storm. We got home around Amos’ dinner time and ate lasagna.
Christmas day was really nice and a lot of time was spent with family. Opening gifts in the morning was fun. Amos and Shanti had a blast… I put cat nip inside of all Shanti’s presents and so she just went crazy over them, but it was Amos who really wanted to rip the paper off. We didn’t get home until after 6 because of all the visiting… all to Mich’s family, because my family is stupid. I’m not really going to waste the energy writing about my family. I may or may not see my niece and nephew on New Year’s day… not sure yet.
I’ve had an unexpected week off. The snow started again on Wednesday afternoon and then all yoga classes got cancelled. And I was supposed to have my private session today but she got sick and cancelled. I’m trying to release worry and just enjoy the time off.
me too- that last sentence.

“release worry” – if I could just learn how to do that and then PRACTICE it!! Glad you had a nice Christmas and good for you not focusing your energy on your stupid family – my own family was stupid this year as always, so I just tried to enjoy Chris and his family – who I guess are technically my family too, but you know what I mean! LOL

Gah, lucky. Here in Tennessee, we got 1/4 inch of wet slurry that instantly melted. Spinach lasagna sounds tasty.
