how was Tassie? I hope your fitness held up. I has been hot here apart from the last two days. I think there were nine days over 30 in a row or some such terrible record.

The modem has not shown up at dad’s yet, last I heard. Have you found that dad never calls you these days? Or is it just me? He will phone me back if I leave a message on his machine but he seems to be incapable of initiating a call these days. He has become obsessed with being able to print digital photos from home.

What is on for Easter? I can’t believe we are almost there already. I have not seen Andrew and June for ages. We still have Christmas presents for them!

We are all well. Life trundles on or flashes by depending on your perspective.

I saw The Movie Show this week. I am glad they have moved it from Wednesday at 10 to Tuesday at 9:30, just that half hour earlier and I seem able to catch it more often. We will probably go see Performance, about a music quartet not the Mick Jagger 1968 one which just showed up on my google, next week. It got 4 stars from both Margaret and David.

I have been reading more this year. I am reading a history of the 20th century which is a compilation of first hand accounts. It is not nearly as dry as it sounds. I took time out to read a little dictionary from cover to cover! I was looking for words I don’t know how to spell or the meaning of. I still have boxes of books from when we moved. I really should read them and give them away.
