small town sheriff

I dreamt I was a sheriff in a small town. I was driving after a suspect and I lost sight of the car I was following. I turned down a very steep storm water trail that lead down through the backyards of suburbia. It was evident after a while that I was lost.

John and Aileen came over yesterday and collected their painting after a year. They have almost convinced me to rent Carbon Black, the gallery where John showed successfully earlier this year. The remaining hurdle is convincing myself that the expense is justified when there aren’t enough people I know to sell to to break even. It would be vanity, but then again it makes little sense having the paintings in the studio where no-one sees them.

I sold a painting on the internet two weeks ago. It was titled Madge Keating, after my great aunt.
