Lorne 2012

Lorne was lovely but a relationship issue did arise on the last night. It was raining as we left but then the days were brilliant weather and we noodled around not doing a lot except eating and chatting. One day Claudia and Ella and I went for a walk around Erskine Falls which is only a short drive away and is a picturesque waterfall. It was all excellent except when Claudia said I shouldn’t have a forth light beer. Claudia flashed an amazing look which I could not interpret as to whether it was fear or anger.

For about 36 hours Claudia was not talking and then she started talking again and said that I should move out for a week to give us some space and think about our options, living separately being her preferred option. It is not my preferred option, it is not me who is unhappy. I appreciate it is my behaviour which makes Claudia unhappy but I do not see the dire consequences that she does. She listed four complaints three of which I think are anticipating that problems will arise from me drinking on medication, and the last is very subjective.

We will go to couples counselling and see what arises. I have agreed to having not more than two drinks.
