FARL
I was reminded of farl by reading old entries in my diary. I never did remember Joyce’s word for an old horse blanket.
Today was wet again but we managed to slip out for a game of badminton. There are a few projects around the house that I am yet to fly with. The washing machine blew up over the weekend. Claudia bought a new one which arrives tomorrow. It was a pest to get the old one out of the laundry, we only moved it as far as the lounge room, luckily it is being taken away by the delivery men.
The other projects are to get rid of the over sized trees and grass from the front garden, move the wall of Ella’s room, do something with the back yard and perhaps build a sun room to compensate for the space the lounge room will lose. They are all chores as far as I am concerned not exciting projects. The only fun project is to decide where to go for a three day holiday in the school holidays later this year, perhaps Lorne. Claudia has set me the task of finding the accommodation.
Jackson finally sent an email with a link to his RMIT invoice (which he was sent right back on the 3rd!) but failed to include his student number which the link required to access it so I still don’t know how much it is or when it is due. Soon I assume. At least he mentioned that if I don’t have the money then he could pay it and I could pay him back later.
Quick Time was delivered last Thursday so I should hassle them to get my money later in the week if it hasn’t been paid by then.
