Frankston

Last weekend we went to Hanna’s show in Frankston and bought an artwork. Then we went to the McClelland sculpture garden in Langwarrin. It was a hoot. It was a pleasant surprise to walk around and find out how extensive the gardens are. There is a heap of work to admire, most in a bush setting that trails around. I recommend it.

Yesterday was Jackson’s birthday. I only rang to wish him a happy one and he said that he had a quiet one. I suggested we could get together for cake next Sunday.

Today I had my second counselling session with Adam. It went well. We talked about emotions and relating to people. Adam asked if Claudia could come to the next session, but she said no, she is worried about looking like an idiot. It is exactly her contention that I should have talked about everything beforehand with Adam that is the side of therapy that I am dubious about. That kind of talking would take forever. I think it can be beneficial to approach it more like most things in life where you have only a working knowledge and you fill in the bits as they are needed. In the end I think Christmas was Claudia’s fight, not mine, and I don’t think I will spend any more time in counselling talking about it. There is lots of more interesting stuff to discuss.
