Vietnamese New Year 2012

We had lunch with Jackson and Hanna at Sen in Footscray on Sunday 29/1/12. It was good and relaxing. As it happened Footscray was abuzz with a festival for the Vietnamese New Year. Claudia and Ella went on a ride called the Tornado that scared the pants off Claudia and even made Ella a little anxious. Note to self: never go on that ride! It may have been exhilarating but it was not pleasant.

Hanna has a group exhibition coming up in a couple of weeks at a gallery in Frankston which we will try and get to on the Saturday.

Jackson’s course resumes in a week or so and will be the final year. He resigned from the TAFE job and will quit the RMIT job soon. I think he is looking forward to completing the course just in terms of getting it over but he is a bit bereft of ideas for writing still.
