keratoconus

I went to the optometrist yesterday and he put a hard contact lens in my blurry eye and most of the ghosting went as a result. He diagnosed keratoconus as a result but I am off to see a cornea specialist next month to have it confirmed. Keratoconus is degenerative condition of the cornea which causes it to lose shape and become conical and in extreme cases droopy. It does not cause blindness. I have been reading up on the condition today and the description of the symptoms are a very good match to what I have been experiencing. If the diagnosis is right I am kind of surprised it has taken this long to make the call. The condition is also partly hereditary so I have written to Jackson and Anna today.

Apart from that everything is swell!
