The play at the Malthouse last Saturday was very enjoyable. Trevor and Derek were joined by members of the family to recount the story. It was very well done, the singing in Aranda (or is that Arrernte ? ) language was particularly noteworthy. We dropped into Walter’s Wine Bar before the show for one lovely drink of shiraz. Claudia suggested we should take my dad there for a meal, perhaps for his birthday.
Claudia and I had breakfast at The Famous Blue Raincoat on Sunday where we talked further. It was good, I think we are finally on the same page. We will have dinner and a film in Yarraville next Saturday, so a bit of wining and dining fun.
Work is nicely plodding along. Liam and Cesar finish up soon.
The Dogs Bar emailed me to see if I would change the date of the show, bringing it forward a week. I said I already informed people of the date so it would be too inconvenient.
I will drop in tonight to Richard’s to see if he wants the building job. I will have to be careful not to drink a lot.
So all in all everything is going along swimmingly. I am enjoying the weather before the heat of summer starts up again.
