The Death of Children

Herein is a story about a mother who chose to kill her three children.  https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/i-drowned-them-mom-accused-of-killing-her-3-kids-murrieta-tie/ar-BB1fJeJV   Consider, for a moment, if you agree that she had a “right” to kill them.

That question is at the root of a cases, or cases, before the Supreme Court of the United States.

The current militant push is towards the idea that “a woman’s right to choose” involves decisions quite close to the time of parturition … that is to say, the time of birth.  More radical voices (IMHO) suggest the a newborn child’s life may be terminated shortly after birth (if it is to the convenience of the mother).  Others offer techniques that involve operations on the “unborn child” in-utero, that involve the insertion, into the base of the skull, a vacuum curette that can suck the contents of the brain of the foetus (quite painlessly) and into a glass jar, to terminate the life of the foetus.  Such procedures can be used during the birth process, when the foetus has sufficiently been pushed out so as to expose the base of the skull.

Earlier in the ninth month, other techniques are more prevalent.

The question, before the Court, and before all of us is, “Where Do We Draw The Line?”

If, as some have claimed, it is “a woman’s right to choose” to have here unborn child killed moments before its birth … or even minutes after it’s birth, how are the actions of Liliana Carrillo, in drowning her 3 children, any different than the murder of children, in abortion clinics and on a daily basis, be any different?

The murder of her children was, apparently okay if said murders were sufficiently close to their time of. birth.  Why, under the current guidelines, is  it okay to kill children who have been born, yet this woman is being condemned for killing her three children?

I had 5 children.  I would never choose abortion, but my situation wasn’t life threatening nor otherwise horrible.  Idk what I would have done had I been raped or ???  I don’t judge those who have had abortions.  It could easily have been me in other circumstances, I think…

There is a sovereign right to life once a child has been born.  No one has the right to take that life away.  That mother, Liliana, can only be described as mentally ill.
