Harken: 4 1-6

1 And, it came to pass that, as Jesus was near His end, a plague was said to have settled upon the whole region of Jerusalem.

2 An edict was sent out, by Claudius Caesar, that every adult and child should wear a mask,

3 and that each person should keep from each other at a distance of three cubits.

4 Also, that all places of worship shall close, and remain closed until this decree is lifted.

5 In addition, all inns, Upper Rooms, and other places serving wine and bread shall close and remain closed until this decree is lifted.

6 Further, people shall remain in their dwellings, and not go out upon the road nor gather in the villages.
