  Good day to all.  I haven’t written in awhile, but I’m still alive.  Things just have been pretty stressful for awhile.  My financial aid finally got settled.  It only took most of the semester to do it.  But at least I have money now, or rather I will. 

  Not much else has been going on.  The semester is coming to an end.  It could be going better, but I’ve just felt a real lack of motivation to do anything.  I think all the stress from the financial aid and other things made my depression worse and that really saps the motivation to do anything. 

  I had some car trouble as well.  My oil sending unit went out.  I found out from the dealership mechanic that apparently when my grandmother had the car, she had taken it to some shop that used a third-party part that really didn’t fit very well, so it just got worse and worse until it finally gave out.  But luckily it got fixed and my car works right again.

  I want to take it in for a tune-up once I get my financial aid money, well if there’s enough once all the school bills are paid.  I also need to get new glasses and new contacts.  My prescription is old, so I’m due for an eye exam.

  I got a new computer.  A friend of the family wanted to build another computer so he was looking to get rid of his "old" computer, which is actually pretty top of the line.  So he gave it to me.  All it needs is a new processor fan and I want to get a higher end graphics card.  I was able to get Windows 7 really cheap from the university bookstore.  One of the few things the university has done right is the deal they worked out with Microsoft on discounts for students.  I’ll probably get the newest version of Office too. 

  I’ve been watching alot of movies from Netflix lately.  I haven’t had the time or the money to really go out and my dating has ground to a halt.  I really miss sex.  Hopefully I can get back into the dating scene once the semester ends.   I’d better get back to paying attention in class though.  Good day to all.
