May the Fourth…

…be with you!

  Its Stars Wars Day!  Being a fan I just had to mention that.  But even being a fan doesn’t help during the semester.  I bought that anime movie of the Clone Wars a few months ago and its still in the shrink wrap.  I haven’t had time to sit down and watch it.

  I watch movies alot, but usually I put on movies I’ve already seen for noise when I’m working on something else.  But I have officially finished all daily quizzes and research papers for the semester.  Today was my last class that has a daily quiz.  Then, next week is finals.  Then I’m done with another semester. 

  I’m still debating on attending a summer course.  Part of it depends on if I get financial aid for it and part of it depends on if I find a new job and what my new schedule will be like.  So far the places I’ve asked aren’t hiring, if anything they’re cutting back on jobs.  Damn the recession, hehe. 

  There’s a women’s study course on women in the adult industry that one of my classmates told me about.  She and I are both english majors, so we’re following the same degree plan.  The women’s study course would count toward the requirements I need for graduation.  And it sounds like an interesting topic. 

  Still nothing on the dating front.  I signed up with this free personals site a few days ago.  I guess I’ll see how that goes.

  I’m hoping for the handyman work I’m doing this summer I’ll have enough money for a few things.  Here’s what I’m hoping to buy:  new tires for my car (tire rot is not a good thing), possibly some rims (one of the wheels is slightly dented anyway. I’m not into the shiny chrome ones, but I thought some black ones would look good), more books (I just bought some at a used book sale last week, but there’s some specific books I’ve been wating to buy), a dock with speakers for my iPod (the ones I’ve seen I’ve not been much impressed with at the prices they’re at).  I hope when I get another job it pays more than I’m getting now, or at least pays as much but gives me more hours.
