Overdue Update

  Its been a long weekend, literally.  The university shut down on Friday in honor of Cesar Chavez day.  So, we got a three day weekend.  I really didn’t know what to expect for my weekend though.  I knew that Krillen and I would not be hanging out.  He’s been bogged down something awful with the work for his masters thesis.

  So, on Friday I got up late fully expecting to be sent to do some type of yard work or another.  But luckily we got irrigated this weekend, so with the majority of the yard under water there was no yard work to be had.  My father and I went to get our hair cut.  After that we stopped off at the Best Buy and I was able to get Kingdom Hearts II and the strategy guide.  I was excited to say the least.  After that we ran a quick errand to the K-Mart.  Then I went out with my mom to the Petsmart and the grocery store.  Then after we finished with that I went out with Marie.  We went to go eat at the mall and then we walked around for awhile.  She recently got a PS2 and has been wanting to get Kingdom Hearts after trying my copy.  So we went in search of KH and found a copy on sale.  Then we walked across the parking lot to the movie theater and saw Stay Alive.  It was an okay movie, not the greatest, but not too bad either.  I liked it, the concept fit together well.  It seemed like they rushed the ending though.  Maybe they ran out of money or something. 

  Then on Saturday I stayed home.  I did a few things around the house, attempted some course work.  Then I started playing KH II.  Its great, I love it already.  I just wish they had kept the original’s orchestrated theme (not Simple & Clean, though I hope that’s still somewhere in the game) for the intro.  Oh well.

  On Sunday we went to church, then went out to eat, then came home.  I managed to get some work done, then I played KH II for awhile.  Then I attempted some more course work and watched Charmed.  That was pretty much my weekend.  Other things happened throughout the weekend but I’d rather not go into all of it.  Needless to say, my mom has been looking at me strange, saying I have bags under my eyes.  Even Marie said today that I looked tired, not just physically either.  I’ll just be glad when the semester is over and I’ll have a little less stress to deal with for awhile. Until summer semesters start. It seems like everyone is going through some rough patches lately. Here’s to hoping things get better for us all soon.
