Gryffindor

  Good day to all.  I couldn’t think of a title, but I’m wearing my Gryffindor Quidditch team jacket.  I wish I knew how to make stuff.  I’d make a personalized Quidditch jacket. That would be sweet.   Hehe.  Anyway, thank you to all my favorites for your kind words and wishes.  Things are better now. I’ll talk about it more later.  It also helped immensely that I got to talk to Padme and got messages from Melissa and Manda.  Its my sister’s birthday today.  We’re going out to dinner.  But now we’re just here at work, waiting until my parents call.  Not much else is going on.  I’m bored.  Its been an okay day.  Not a great day, probably not even a good day, but an okay day.  Things with family are just the way they are.  My mother and I talked some yesterday evening.  She’s going to try and find a home for the dog.  But we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. 

  I started to feel a little discouraged in French today, you know that sort of shutting down that one does when they feel they’re in over their head.  But I realized that shutting down doesn’t solve anything, I pushed myself to continue on, to stay engaged in the class.  You have to rise above that shutting down, you have to push through.  I think maybe I can make a song about that, something to share with people that they’re not alone in how they feel sometimes.

  I really need to get into a training regiment again.  I miss having a washboard.  Hehe.  But I will again, I promise.  I just need to keep motivating myself to exercise.  I think I should buy the Rocky movies and put training scenes on while I’m exercising.  Hehe.  I don’t know if that will actually help any, but it sounds like a good theory at the moment.  Anyway, I’d better get going.  Good eve to all.
