Music and Time

  Good day to all.  I feel much relieved. I had two performance tests today.  One was for voice class and the other was for piano.  I had the voice one before.  I had to sing a German sing called "Bist du bei mir" which translates to If You Are Near.  Its actually kind of a nice song.  I’d put some kind of song sample of me singing up but I’m not that technologically talented to figure out how.  Anyway, I spoke with my teacher after and he thought I great.  I still need to work out a few diction issues, but its normal cause I’m not fluent in German after all.  Then I had the test in piano after that.  I did okay, not great, but okay.  I was proud of how I did with this one piece though.  We had a long song and a short one to play.  The long one was the same for everyone, but the short one you could pick from three or four choices.  Well, I decided on one of the harder ones cause I thought it sounded really nice.  Anyway, I did really well with it.  Then after I went the next person was like the star student of the class.  She played the long piece better than I did (which I expected tho), but on the shorter song I actually played it better and with alot fewer mistakes than she did.  So, I was all proud of myself.

  I feel really good about how I’m doing this semester but at the same time, it kind of sucks because in order to do everything that I need to, it just sucks up so much time.  I have to put some stuff off sometimes just to have some fun, to let off some tension and stress.  I hope things get easier, or at least let up some.  There just seems to be so little time to do everything I need to most days.  At least I’m handling everything and not going crazy.  Or least not yet.  Hehe.  Anyway, glad everyone like the zombies entry.  I’d best get back to work, or at least trying to look busy.  Good day to all.
