A Word or Two

Good day to all.  I just noticed today that the last entry was supposed to read, “CoH, CoS: Chapter 37” and I just put the chapter number.  I also noticed that for some reason, it cut off a few lines of my ending.  So, I’ve written them back in if anyone wants to go back and read. 

Anyway, finals are over, grades are here and Christmas is almost upon us.  Finals went alright, some better than others though.  My grades were okay, pulling As and Bs.  Guess I’m not the Dean’s List kind of person. 

I almost finished my Christmas shopping, but I can probably finish some of it after Christmas, since those that I haven’t finished yet, I won’t see until after Christmas anyway. 

The choir I’m in at church was picked to play the Christmas day mass.  So, I’m kind of excited about that, I have a couple of singing solos.  I’ve been praticing, so I hope that they go well.  Now, if I can only find a decent voice recorder.  Ah well.  I’m singing O Holy Night by myself and I’m doing Silent Night with another person, but they’re doing a harmony, so I’ll be the melody on that one.  There are some others where it’s just the tenor and I on certain verses, but those two are the main ones.  I’m probably go to pratice some more later today and, of course, tomorrow as well.

Today’s my last day at work, I’m actually at work now but there’s nothing left to do.  The most I did was help my boss transfer her fish to a travel bowl because we found out they’re going to shut the power down over the holiday, so the heat would be off and so would the fish’s filter.  So, that’s been the extent of the excitement at work today, woo hoo and yee haw (*laugh* I guess you can tell I’m from Texas…and on that note, Texas would like to apologize to the world for the village idiot in the big white house) 

I’m hoping that I’ll be able to get some writing done on my various stories during the break.  But I guess we’ll have to see.  But, of course, I’ll be posting them on here as I write them. 

Do you all remember Krillen?  My best friend?  Well, he graduated earlier this month, with a degree in Electrical Engineering.  He’s going straight to graduate school tho, still here too.  I told him he should have gone somewhere else for graduate school, just to see something beyond this place, but engineering is one of the few things this university is well known for, so here he decided to stay.  *shrugs*  I’m happy that he’s here, cause we get to hang out still, but I do think he should be a little more daring.  Ah well.  I got him hooked on DDR though, hehe.  I bought a second dance pad the other day, so now friends can play the game with me.  Maybe over break, but I guess we’ll see. 

Well, I haven’t written an entry like this in awhile.  I’ve run out of things to talk about though.  But if anyone has any questions on the stories or just in general, feel free to ask and I’ll do my best to answer.  Good day to all.
