Love is there

But so is pain

Sadness, Lonliness

There’s life out there

Warmth and energy

But what do you do

When all there is

Is cold and sleep

I don’t know what

To think anymore

words flowing like blood

I want what we had

The fates tried to keep

Us apart

But I don’t want to

Be away from you

The comfort of your arms

And the sweetness of your kiss

I can still hear your voice

Whispering sweet words to me

I smile now

The first genuine

In a long time

But’s it’s only becase

Of you

We’re both drowning

In this dark sea

Maybe we just

Need to hold each other

We’ll stay afloat together
