The strangest thing…

(Note : I tried posting this since monday night, but it wouldn’t, so here it is now.)

Good eve to all. I got to go to the Sheryl Crow concert today with my sister and her friend. It was a pretty good concert. Michelle Branch and, of course, Sheryl Crow performed. Much to my delight they both sounded like they do on recordings. Mostly cause I’ve heard some people that sound good on recording but suck live. Anyway, I had a pretty good time there. But the strangest thing happened. I was grooving to Michelle during the concert and singing along to the songs. The girl next to me kept looking over at me though. I just ignored it and enjoyed the show. So, a little while later she sang her last song and we had intermission while we waited for Sheryl Crow to come on. I had to go to the bathroom and I wanted to look at the t-shirts and see if there was anything I wanted. So I told them I would be gone for awhile and left. I went over to the bathroom and did my business, as usual there was no line in the mens bathroom but a long line in the womens. hehe. Anyway, it was actually kinda empty, I thought more people would get up and walk around. I was looking at the t-shirts, trying to decide if they were worth the overpriced amount. Then I heard a voice behind and slightly to the side of me.

“Expensive huh.”

“Yeah.” I replied and turned around.

I’m pretty sure my eyes grew at least a little bigger as I looked into the eyes of Michelle Branch. She smiled at me.

“Would you like to come backstage with me?”

“Um..sure.”

I mean, come on, what else was I gonna say. No way. No thank you. So I followed her in kind of a daze. Once we got to the green room she sat down on the couch and gestured me to sit next to her. We started talking and conversation actually went pretty well. There was a moment of silence for a bit then she leaned in a kissed me. She started kissing me deeply and I started to kiss back, but I remembered myself and gently moved her back.

“I’m sorry…I can’t do this. I have a girlfriend.”

She looked at me for a few seconds and I thought she was about to get pissed off at me. But then she smiled and kissed me again, but a light soft kiss on the lips.

“She’s got quite a man to be as loyal as you are.”

A few mintues later I was sitting back in my seat rocking out to Sheryl Crow. But I was four free t-shirts richer. Two from Michelle and two from Sheryl. They both signed one. I also came back with two free cds and one phone number. Michelle gave to me with a smile on her face and a just in case in reply…

Okay…so most of that didn’t happen. But I did end up going to the concert and having a good time. I hope you all enjoyed it even if you didn’t buy a word of it from the start. Beautiful dreams to all.
