The city lay in ruins. The battle had been hard fought. The people looked around them, not knowing what to do. Feeling that hopelessness, even though they had won, the beautiful city, a becon of light and peace was destroyed. Damien looked from one face to another. He nodded to himself and began gathering the Knights together. Each Knight heard his telepathic call, no matter where in the city they were. They all gathered together. Damien smiled softly at them and took the hand of the person to the right and left of him. Each Knight took the hint and joined hands. They each closed their eyes and gathered their Gift, their power together. Then, in a burst of light and love the power of the joined circle shot forth. It touched and spread over the city. The city began repairing itself, looking better than new. Shining and bright and beautiful. The citizens watched the healing of their city with wonder and amazement. Felt awe at the powerful Gifts of the Knights. The wave of power spread from the city to each individual. Everyone was wrapped in those feelings of love, care, and joy. A great cheer was raised in the city from every person. Song and dance was in the street and the victory, not of war, but of love rang forth well into the night and early morning hours.
