AUDITION RESULTS
THE FOREIGNER
Wow! What a hard job, to cast only seven people out of all the talented people who auditioned. Please do not be discouraged. Please keep auditioning. Everyone did very well. Thank you for auditioning.
I am looking for an assistant director for the production. If anyone is interested in the position please see Mr. Tryzbiak.
The first rehearsal is Friday, March 18, 2005 at 3 oclock in room 123.

You have just read the very same thing Maestro saw posted on Mr. Trybiak’s door this morning. What better way to start St. Patrick’s Day then to find out you are the title character in the upcoming play? From tomorrow on, our Hero will have to stay after school every day til 5:30 once again. But it’s worth it…Oh so very worth it. For those of you who care, which should be everyone reading this, the performance dates are May 6, 7, and 8. As you can see, they do not have much time! Now as for the rest of today…
Well, actually, there is more to say about The Foreigner. Maestro was very happy to discover that Paul, Stan, and himself made it in. However, he was not so thrilled about some of the other choices. During the audition, there were several people who showed admirable talent…including some unexpectedly good freshmen! But anyway, our Hero was sad to see that not only did his main mates Chris and Jonathan not make it in, but also two people he isn’t particularly fond of working with DID make it in (I’ll give you a hint – it’s the gals). He was also sad because two of his main mates (Sam and Sam) were not even able to try out in the first place, due to unfortunate circumstances. He would have loved to have worked with them. He also has another mate he would have liked to have worked with who forgot auditions were that day…sigh…O well, that’s life, eh? It’s going to be an awesome experience nonetheless. I mean, come on – Maestro gets to speak in an English accent…and Jibberish! Weeeee.
Ahem, now as for the rest of St. Patrick’s Day…Our Hero wore a delightfully Irish outfit consisting of a forest green corduroy long sleeve button down shirt, (say that 5 times fast) a navy blue tie with shamrocks on it, and a long green shamrock necklace. Yes…Maestro is rather Irish…and darn proud of it!
And speaking of St. Patrick’s Day, perhaps you remember what happened exactly 1 year ago tomorrow…? It was that momentous occasion on which Gretchen and Maestro saw Hidalgo together. Just the two of them…Aw, how cute. So, what momentous thing will happen on March 18th of THIS year, eh? Only time will tell. So until I actually do save the world from odd casting decisions…
The Universe Can Wait
P.S. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!

darn you and your luck of the Irish! Yeah, I was definitely looking for Amanda Sesler and Leah Fox in the girls’ roles. And is it just me, or did that Andrew kid seem a little…nonplussed at the audition? Ah, well. That Ian kid, though. He’s where it’s at.
