Production Week Is As Fun As A Barrel Of Monkeys

That is, of course, if by “a barrel” you mean “getting kicked” and by “of monkeys” you mean “in the stomach.”

Yep, that’s right. Our hero is in the middle of the last week of Brigadoon. Things have gotten intense, as they always do. People aren’t ready. Mr Tryzbiak is getting frustrated…and yelling accordingly. The days are getting longer. Maestro is getting less sleep. And he’s been sick to boot. Madness.

But it will be a good show. It always is. If you can, see it. If not, your life is lack luster. Sorry – your loss.

So by next week our Hero shall finally be free of Brigadoon. It has been fun, and he will miss it. But it will also be a relief to be done with it. His days will finally be free! He’ll have time to make videos again! And so he shall. Maestro and Sam have some brilliant ideas for upcoming videos, and soon they will finally be able to make them.

Also, another play is coming up. It’s called The Foreigner, if you’ve heard of it. If you haven’t heard of it…well, it’s still called The Foreigner. It has 7 parts. 5 lads, 2 lasses. The casting will be crazy. Our Hero and some of his good mates plan on trying out. We shall see how that turns out…

On top of that, Maestro has one more thing he’ll be doing in the absence of Brigadoon. Gretchen asked him to be her partner for the swing dance lessons that are taking place after school in preperation for Prom. Since this year’s Prom theme is “An Evening at the Moulin Rouge,” there will be jazz music and therefore the ability to dance to it will be very valuable. And since most teenagers have no clue how to dance to such classy music, a dance savy teacher is offering lessons after school. But in order to learn how to dance, one must have a partner. Maestro has always wnated to learn how to dance, but he didn’t actually consider doing it. But when Gretchen asked him to do her “a huuuuge favor,” he couldn’t say no. Heh. I mean, honestly – why wouldn’t he do it? He would have to be a fool.

Of course, there is no proving that Maestro is NOT a fool…but that is beside the point! So until I actually do save the world from dreaded PRODUCTION WEEKS…

The Universe Can Wait

P.S. For those who read it, I apologize for the last entry’s impractical length. Hey – that reminds me of something…

The impractical length of my socks, of course!

RYN:: Thankya Nathan, I love you too! And not necessarily in that sense, either, but alot nonetheless! I hope to be taking those lessons too, just means I have to drag the boyfriend with me, rawr. I can already swing dance, just not ballroom and such… whens the next lesson? <3

Wait, whoa, they’re doing a swing prom? How does Paul feel? I recall something about how no one would go for his idea. And then Mr. Sheldon was a douchebag. Now they’re doing it? Yikes.

The fact that the play is called “The Foreigner” and absolutely NO ONE made a comment about me is shocking, just shocking. I’m so vain.
