Simple Update.

Friday – Twin and I took the day off. We tried to clean the house in preparation for the move. That didn’t quite pan out- we were able to clear the house of cobwebs, a lot of spiders and other things like that. The highlight was going to Annapurna after picking up CapChef who informed us that she’s considering moving out of her apartment and taking a break from SagChef.

Saturday – we managed to get everything out of the apartment by 8:45 or so, then into the house by 11:30 or so. We only had the full-time help of BGem, BSco, and CapChef. LMP and GAries helped at the apartment since they were going to do yardwork. The contractors finished their work on Saturday evening as well. We ended up going to the baseball game Twin’s parents invited us to.

Sunday – We cleaned a little more deeply, and we also received all of our kitchen stuff. It was a long day, but it was very productive I think. Since the contractors were done we put our furniture where it belongs.

Friday I did find out some pretty big news for me personally, and that is my contract will end here this Friday. I’m happy that I get to move on and will be consumed with learning a new position eventually. I love new things because they represent either a streamlining of my tasks or a challenge to become sufficiently competent. I’m pretty overwhelmed by all this insurance stuff. The gals of the office get along really well, but I don’t fit in. I haven’t quite figured that out yet and how to alleviate that.

So then I dive back into my goals for future employment. I’m still undecided as I have taken no action because of moving and maintaining adequate income. I will address that the beginning of next week hopefully.
