Rammstein

Twin and I witnessed the best concert possible last night. I haven’t been to many admittedly, but there is a lot of attention to detail and they live up to the idea that the show has to be good because a majority of the crowd doesn’t understand what they’re saying. I was able to fit in with the crowd for the most part with these rather informal denim cargo shorts, an "air" guitar shirt. Twin bought a Rammstein shirt and was wearing black slacks. The arena weed seemed to be kept to a minimum. I’m always astounded by the number of people that have abnormal hair, tattoos and piercings.

The best thing about the show, aside from the fireworks, is they get really close to all fans on the floor. The entered from one of the side bleachers and had a smaller, alternate stage near the equipment area that’s always barricaded off. That means we were literally within 10 ft of the band a couple of times. I’m not very good with being around a celebrity type presence. I’m not sure what to say, and I’m always impressed with where they’ve been. Usually I’ve seen, heard them do some amazing things that I’m no where near capable of.

There was a DJ that was the opening act, that only lasted for about 30 minutes and played some pretty good mixes. I particularly liked his Dubstep rendition of "Du Hast."

All in all, great show. We’re kayaking tonight to enjoy the weather, unwind (Twin has a major headache so I think getting out on the water will help release some tension), and make up for not going at all this past weekend.

“I’m always astounded by the number of people that have abnormal hair, tattoos and piercings.” Hahaha you are such a square sometimes 😉 I’m not the biggest fan of that type of music, I don’t really care for loud screaming bands. I know that isn’t all they play, it’s just not my style. Fedja loves them of course.

Sounded like a great time! And have fun kayaking! RYN: you hit the nail on the head, Jock was adopted by people who took in foster kids. They had to be very regimented in order to comply with the State. My parenting style is very different from that and from my mothers. I am very hands on, loving and forgiving. I dont make a big deal out of too much, just important things.

Nice. Shows give me a high as well. I used to go to at least one a week, smaller bar venues… Local bands…. But that gets expensive. Especially since I was drinking so much. Whoops! Now I go to one every few months, only the ones that mean a lot to me. Kayaking tonight is going to be AWESOME

Steve and I went and saw them last summer. They’re one of our all time favorite bands. TOTALLY worth the not skimping out for floor tickets! One of the best shows ever, and we go to A LOT! Their pyro-technics are amazing! I had the BIGGEST crush on Till Lindemann growing up <3 Have fun Kayaking tonight! 🙂 🙂 🙂
