Drunken Week
It was actually a really good week this past week. I went out on Wednesday night after work for the Greek Life mixer at SB. I ended up pregaming in the Walmart parking lot while waiting for my bus, so that by the time I got to Erin’s house I was pretty drunk….I dunno guess you had to be there…it was funny.
The Greek Life mixer kind of sucked because no one really showed up but we had a good time because Jared Campbell, a locally famous musician, was playing at SB so half of my sorority and I had kareoke night, which was awesome. It was a really good night also because my entire sorority seemed to be getting along, for once.
Thursday night I stayed in to do work and Friday I went out with Bridgette and Jennie, my housemates for next semester. I’m moving because I really hate being alone, and I hate being so far from downtown. So after my car gets fixed over winter break I’m moving into their house. Anyway, I pregamed at Jennie and Bridgette’s house and then we went over to Jennie’s friend’s house who was having a small house party. The house was absolutely GORGEOUS. Plus it had a fully stocked bar, so I was in heaven. I had a ridiculous number of shots that night so by the time we hit up the bars I was really wasted. We were having fun at SB when I ran into who I thought was Dashu, one of Chris’s friends. Dashu had come up to me a few weeks earlier and had randomly made a comment that I hated him or something since I had apparently shoved him or something a week earlier, accidentally. I don’t hate him, so I totally denied it and then we started talking. He’s actually a really nice guy. Anyway, the guy wasn’t Dashu, but Chris pulled me over and asks, “Can I talk to you?” Being drunk I agreed and then went on to explain, probably incoherently, that I didn’t hate Dashu and that I didn’t want Dashu to think I hated him so I said hi to him. Chris, also drunk, goes on to tell me that he avoids me because he thinks I hate him (I do) and that he didn’t use me, and that he really did like me. I don’t remember what I replied, but I did back away saying that I didn’t want to talk to him while drunk. Remind me to stay far away from ex-boyfriends/ex-hook-ups when I’m that inebriated.
Anyway, then we went to the Rat where I danced with a somewhat sketchy guy and danced on the stage with Bridgette and Jennie. Jennie decided that she wanted to go to the Sig Ep house for after hours so we followed her. The party was pretty dead and the guy I was talking to was a total weirdo. He told me that he had served a sentence for drug possession….so yeah, we left Jennie there since she really wanted to stay and Bridgette and I went back to her house to crash….to be continued
